Johannes Kämmerer

  • Johannes Kämmerer was born circa 1731 possibly in Astheim.
  • Johannes Schömbs, like most of the Schömbs, became a farmer. He also became the Farm Manager of St. Alban, and assumed the responsibilities which went with the position. Note that his contemporary Johannes Kämerer, father of Laurentius Kamerer who may have married his daughter Anna Catharina Schömbs, was Hofmann of St. Alban.

Anna Maria Eva Schömbs became step-mother of Laurentius Kämmerer when he was two years old. Laurentius later married the daughter of Anna Maria Eva's brother Johannes Schömbs..

  • Johannes Kämmerer died on 18 December 1809 in Undenheim, Rheinhessen, . His death was officially witnessed by Johann Peter Kämmerer. Other informant was police sergeant Joseph Heller.
