  • The following appeared on 23 June 1910 in The Niagara Falls Gazette: An extremely pretty wedding was solemnized last evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Adam Kammerer in Ontario avenue when their daughter, Lucille C. was united in marriage to Mr. C. Frederick Hartwig, the Reverend Herman Brezing performing the ceremony. The house was elaborately adorned with spring flowers. In the living room where the ceremony was performed, palms and ferns and huge bunches of roses and peonies being used profusely in decorating. The bride was atired in a robe of white French lawn with swiss embroidery and lace trimming and carried a large bouquet of killarney roses. Miss Marie Kammerer who acted as maid of honor, wore a blue rajah silk dress and carried white carnations. Mr. John B. Kammerer attended the groom. After July 1st., Mr. and Mrs. Hartwig will be at home to their friends at No. 746 Spruce avenue.
