- The following appeared on 3 March 1933 in The Niagara Falls Gazette: (Ransomville) Mrs. Velma Austin of Ransomville, and George Miller of Lewiston, were united in marriage on Tuesday evening at the home of the bride. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Peter Van Duren. They were attended by Miss Betty Miller, sister of the groom, and Eugene Miller, brother of the groom. The bride wore a becoming dress of blue silk crepe with corsage of pink and white sweet peas.
Following the ceremony a dinner was served. Fourteen covers were laid at the bride's table which was attractively decorated in colors of pink and white centered with a bowl of pink and white sweet peas.
The bridal couple left immediately after the dinner for Canada. The occasion was also the birthday of Mrs. Frank Scott, mother of the groom.
Out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Miller, Miss Margaret Miller and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Scott of Lewiston, and Mr. and Mrs. Neal Williams of Thorold, Ont. - George Ogden Miller appeared in the US federal census of 1 April 1940 in Ransomville, Niagara County, New York, at New Road. The couple was wed on April 7, (1956) at the home of the bride, the former Miss Margaret E. Miller, Burt, a granddaughter of Mrs. Frank Scott, Lewiston, Mr. Vining is the son of Hugh Vining Sr., Warren's Corners.
The Rev. Robert R. Ismay officiated at the ceremony at which the bride was given in marriage by Howard S. Trudesdell. Mrs. Willis Raetz, Burt, was matron of honor, and the best man was Hugh Vining Jr., Warren's Corners.

An avid gardener, he enjoyed raising orchids in his greenhouses.
Survivors include his wife, the former Margaret Miller; two sons, James of Medina and Earl; and a brother, Hugh.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Warrens Corners United Methodist Church, 5293 Stone Road. - The SSDI lists Lockport, Niagara County, New York, as the last residence of record of Margaret F. Miller.
- Margaret F. Miller died on 3 October 2003 at age 82.
- She was interred at Huskey Cemetery, Niagara County, New York.
