Mr. Wilson leaves his wife, Harriet; four daughters and two sons, Mrs. Hugh Vining of Warren's Corners, Althea of North Tonawanda, Irene of Lockport, John of Wright's Station, Gerard and Florence, at home; also one brother, Alexander Wilson of Flint, Mich.

         Surviving are one son and four daughters, John L., Florence M. and Irene Wilson, at home, Mrs. Hugh Vining of Warrens Corners and Althea L. Wilson of North Tonawanda; also one sister, Mrs. P. B. Mitchell of Battle Creek, Mich. The funeral services will be held at the home on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, standard time. Burial will be in Glenwood cemetery.

Vining, who died Thursday at her home, Turnpike road, Town of Lockport, will be conducted tomorrow at 3 o'clock at the Wilson homestead, Leete road, Town of Lockport. Burial will be in North Ridge cemetery. Mrs. Vining is survived by her husband; two sons, James E. and Hugh F. Vining, Jr., at home; one brother and three sisters, John L., Florence M. and Althea L. Wilson, Town of Lockport, and Irene Wilson, city.
  • The following appeared on 16 April 1953 in the Lockport Union-Sun & Journal: A home economics teacher in Lockport schools for about 35 years, Miss Irene Wilson, of 342 Washburn St., died this morning.
         Miss Wilson died at her birthplace, the family homestead on Leete Road, Town of Lockport, where she had been staying for the past five weeks.
         She was the daughter of Edward and Harriet Leete Wilson. A graduate of Lockport High School and Rochester Mechanics Institute, she taught in Pittsburgh for about four years before returning to Lockport.
         She is survived by one brother and one sister, John L. and Florence M. Wilson and two nephews, James and Hugh Vining, all of Town of Lockport.
         Services will be held at the Wilson home Saturday at 2 o'clock. The Rev. Harleigh M. Rosenberger, pastor of the Baptist Church, of which she was a member, will officiate. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.
