- The following appeared on 19 November 1869 in the Georgia Weekly Telegraph: By virtue of an order of the Court of Ordinary of the county of Dougherty, and State of Georgia, I will sell, on the first Tuesday in December next, between thye legal hours of sale, before the Court House door of said county, at Albany, that splendid plantation in Dougherty county, known as "Mud Creek," containing twenty-seven hundred and sixty seven and one-half acres, 2,767-1/2) Sold as the property of the estate of Lewis Bond, Joseph Bond, and Mary J. Bond, minor childen of Joseph Bond, deceased, for the benefit of heirs and minors. Terms--One half cash; balance in twleve months, with mortgage on the place. R. K. Hines, Guardian.
