- The following appeared on 12 December 1826 in the Macon Telegraph: Deaths. In Wilkes county, on the 22d Sept. last, Mary Greene, daughter of D. G. Campbell, aged 5 years and 7 months. Also, Lawrence Greene, his son, aged 10 years and 7 months. Also, Mary-Ann MacKenzie, his Neice [sic], in the 11th year of her age.
