- The following appeared on 27 May 1920 in The Warrensburgh News: Mrs. Cornelius Finn, aged seventy-eight years, died Friday morning at her home, 13 Birch avenue, Glens Falls. Besides her husband she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Katherine Holmes and Mrs. James Cooney; her sons, Rev. John J. Finn and Attorney Daniel J. Finn, and three daughters, Julia, Ella and Anna. Funeral services were held at St. Mary's church Monday morning at 11 o'clock, a solemn requiem high mass being celebrated by the Rev. John J. Finn, son of the deceased, assisted by the Rev. Francis King, of Stuyvesant Falls, as deacon; Rev. Thomas Deignan, of Rotterdam Junction, sub-deacon, and the Rev. Daniel R. Burns as master of ceremonies. There were nearly three hundred people in attendance, including thirty-three visiting clergy in the sanctuary. Interment in St. Mary's cemetery.

- The following appeared on 20 August 1948 in the Schenectady Gazette: Daniel J. Finn, 72, brother of Very Rev. John J. Finn, pastor of St. John the Evangelist Church, died yesterday afternoon at his home, 36 Grove avenue, Glens Falls. He had been in poor health the past year.
A native of Glens Falls, Mr. Finn had been a lawyer there since 1898. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius Finn. He attended St. Mary's school in Glens Falls and graduated from the Albany Law School.
In addition to his wife, Mrs. Nellie Cunnngham Finn, and Father Finn, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. John T. Breen, of Glens Falls; two sisters, Miss Ella T. Finn and Miss Ana A. Finn, both of Albany, and three grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 11 o'clock Monday morning in St. Mary's Church, Glens Falls.
