A native and lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, Mrs. McKinnon was a member of an old Niagara family. Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Jerauld Fletcher; two granddaughters, Diana and Johce Pletcher; three sisters, Mrs. Dempster Hardy, Mrs. William Zinter and Mrs. Bert McConnell, and two brothers, John and Chris Koelle, all of this city.
Funeral services will be held at the family home at 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Arthur H. Schmoyer officiating. Interment will be made in Oakwood cemetery. - The following appeared on 17 April 1945 in the Niagara Falls Gazette: The funeral of the late Dorothy Koelle McKinnon was held Saturday, April 14, 1945, from the family home, 722 Pierce Avenue. Interment was in Oakwood cemetery. The pallbearers were J. Hiller, E. Kysor, F. Dietrick, W. Williamson, G. Lock and A. Kelberer.
