Mrs. Lewis was born in a house which was situated on Chester Avenue N. E. in the rear of the present Sterling-Lindner-Davis store. She was a graduate of old Rockwell School.
For many years she had been a member of St. Paul's Church and of its Brooks Society.
In 1917 she was married to Mileham Lewis. He is a retired veteran of 42 years in the accounting department of the Standard Oil Co. of Ohio. Surviving her besides him are a sister and a brother. - Foster Oran Dudgeon died on 23 April 1978 at age 102 in North Olmsted, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.
