  • Irene Maybelle Hummel was born on 6 February 1920 in New York.
  • Harry Schriver Hummel and Gladys Irene Booth appeared in the US federal census of 1 April 1930 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, New York, at 2220 Ontario Avenue. Other members of the household included Irene Maybelle Hummel, Julia Ruth Hummel and George W. Booth. Also in the household was nephew Edwin L. Booth, age 12.
  • The following appeared on 29 August 1933 in The Niagara Falls Gazette: Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hummel and daughter Irene, of Ontario avenue, and Mrs. George Rushton, of Elmwood avenue, left by motor for Boston, Mass., to visit Mrs. Rushton's brother, Arthur Shriber.
  • The following appeared on 1 February 1945 in The Niagara Falls Gazette: Harry S. Hummel, 53, of 2220 Ontario avenue, died unexpectedly at his home this morning, victim of a heart ailment. He was a native of Buffalo, had resided here 32 years and was employed as a pressman by the American Sales Book plant. He was a member of the Niagara River Lodge, No. 785 F. and A.M.
         Surviving Mr. Hummel are his wife, Mrs. Gladys Irene Hummel; three daughters, Mrs. Charles Weaver and Mrs. Donald Wagner, of this city, and Mrs. Charles Holley, of Waverly, N.Y; his mother, Mrs. George Rushton, of this city, and three grandchildren.
         Funeral services were being completed this afternoon.
  • At the time of her death Irene Maybelle Hummel was living in Hampstead, Pender County, North Carolina.
