Arthur Schriver
- The following appeared on 24 August 1927 in The Niagara Falls Gazette: Mr. and Mrs. George Rushton, Elmwood avenue, are this week entertaining Mrs. Rushton's brother and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Schriver, Boston, Mass; Miss Virginia Davis, a popular young actress; and Mrs. P. C. Tracey and Mr. Frank Hoffman, all of New York. On Monday evening, Mr. and Mrs. Rushton and their guests were entertained at dinner by Mrs. Mary Stratton, Main street.
- The following appeared on 25 March 1953 in The Niagara Falls Gazette: Mrs. Emma S. Rushton, 90, of 719 Hopkins street, Buffalo, a resident of Niagara Falls until three years ago, died late yesterday at Mercy hospital, Buffalo, after a short illness.
Mrs. Rushton, whose husband George Rushton, died February 27, 1948, lived for many years at 642 Elmwood avenue and also in Ashland avenue. She was a member of the Dames of Malta, Flagler Chapter 582, Order of the Eastern Star; Amaranth Court 30, Messiah White Shrine 18, Riverdale Rebekah Lodge 195 and the Spanish War Veterans auxiliary. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Jane Quigley, Buffalo; a brother, Arthur Schriver, Bellwood, Pa; two stepsons, Charles and George Rushton, this city, nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Gridley funeral home, with the Rev. John C. Wickenden, Epiphany Episcopal church, officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood cemetery.
