Homer A. Burt married Eva Lena Hannigan, daughter of Lafayette Hannigan and Ruth Hamilton.
He was born circa 1892 in Reading, Schuyler County, New York.
Eva Lena Hannigan became a widow at his death.
Homer A. Burt died on 18 June 1966 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, New York, at Memorial Hospital.
He was interred at Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, Niagara County, New York.
The following appeared on 19 June 1966 in the Niagara Falls Gazette: Homer A. Burt, 74, of 995 Ridge Road, Lewiston, died Saturday (June 18, 1966) in Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
     He was born in Redding, N.Y. and had lived in Niagara Falls for the last 53 years.
     He was a shift foreman at the International Minerals and Chemical Corp. for 39 years until his retirement in 1957.
     He was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church of Lewiston and the American Legion LaSalle Post.
     He served in France during World War I.
     He is survived by his widow, Lena, and four sons, Willard H., Kenneth F. and Gerald H. Burt, all of Niagara Falls; and Edwin W. Burt, of Lamaroli, Calif. Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. Jay (Mabel) Curry, and seven grandchildren.
     Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Redanz Funeral Home. Rev. Milan Slahor, of Messiah Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Riverdale Cemetery.
     The family will be present from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Monday.
