Born in Asheville, N.C., on Jan. 28, 1926, he came to Lakeland from Brooksville in February. He was a field service representative at Grumman Aerospace Corp. for 20 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific Theater, and the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve and Blue Angel Alumni Association. He was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church.
He is survived by his daughters, Priscilla Kight, Lakeland, and Elizabeth Bradford, Miami; son, Charles Bradford Jr., Key West; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Stephen's Episcopal Memorial Fund.
