Two grandsons and four nephews served as pallbearers yesterday afternoon at the funeral of Emanuel Nussbaum, widely know aged resident, who died Tuesday. The services were conducted at the family home, 1641 Tenth street, by the Rev. Arthur H. Schmoyer, pastor of the Zion Evangelical Luthern church, and interment was made in Oakwood cemetery.
The pallbearers were Nelson Nussbaum and Dr. George Nussbaum, grandsons, and Walter Haeberle, George Haeberle, Jr., Carl Haeberle and Frank Swan, nephews. - George Frederick Nussbaum Jr. and Esther Louise Main appeared in the US federal census of 1 April 1940 in North Tonawanda, Niagara County, New York, at 91 Klaum Avenue.

Nussbaum, of 91 Klaum avenue, this morning announced that he had been commissioned as a first lieutenant in the U. S. Army Medical corps and will close his office today. The office is in the Litzenberg block in South Niagara street.
Dr. Nussbaum has been practicing here for five years, coming here upon his graduation from the University of Louisville in Kentucky. He is also a graduate of Georgetown university in Washington, D. C. He is a native of Niagara Falls, where his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George F. Nussbaum, reside. He attended public school there. He is president of the Tonawanda Rotary club. - The following appeared on 10 March 1952 in the Niagara Falls Gazette:
A former two-term member of the Niagara Falls City Council and well-known for many years in business circles, George F. Nussbaum, 75, of 1371 Ontario avenue, died at 4 p.m. yesterday at Buffalo Veterans hospital.
A native of this city, Mr. Nussbaum served as a councilman from 1928 to 1936 and during that period was one of the leaders in creating Hyde Park and the Municipal airport. For many years he was active in the Republican party.
For a period of 47 years, prior to retirement, in 1948, Mr. Nussbaum was district representative of the Pittsburgh Plate Glass company. He was a veteran of the Spanish-American war and was a member of Niagara River Lodge 785, F and AM; Niagara Chapter 200, RAM; Niagara Commandery 64, Knights Templar; Ismalia temple, Buffalo; Exempt Firemen's association, Lewiston Anglers club and Niagara and Niagara Falls Country clubs.
He is survived by two sons, Nelson G. Nussbaum, this city, and Dr. George F. Nussbaum, Jr., North Tonawanda; a daughter, Mrs. John H. Chapin, this city; a sister, Mrs. Emma Sonnenberg, Mt. Clemens, Mich., and eight grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Gridley Funeral home, 750 Main street, until noon Wednesday. Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Arthur H. Schmoyer, at the convenience of the family.

St. Paul's Methodist Church will dedicate its new north transept Nativity window at the worship service at 11 a.m. tomorrow.
The art window is in honor of all ministers who have served St. Paul's since its organization in 1835. It has been given by the Temple family in memory of the late Dr. and Mrs. Sterling Temple. . . .
The names of 48 ministers of St. Paul's appear on the stained-glass window. They are, with the years of their service: . . . J. N. Simkins, 1856-57, 1858-59, and 1889-94. . . .

Descendants of the Rev. Mr. Simkins include his son, Edward Simkins; a granddaughter, Mrs. John H. Chapin; two grandsons, Nelson G. Nussbaum and Dr. George F. Nussbaum, Tonawanda; and great grandchildren, Barbara and Peter Chapin, Gayle and Jean Nussbaum, in this city, and Gretchen, Virginia, Frederick and Paul Nussbaum, Tonawanda. The Rev. Mr. Simkins' daughter, Mrs. Peter H. Kain, resides in Pennsylvania. - The following appeared on 17 August 1970 in the Tonawanda News: Navy Petty Officer 3.C. George F. Nussbaum, son of Dr. and Mrs. George F. Nussbaum of 144 Clinton St., Tonawanda, is serving aboard the destroyer escort USS Sample in the Western Pacific.
- The following appeared on 29 November 1972 in the Gloversville-Johnstown Leader-Herald: Mr. and Mrs. James S. Abbott of 173 North Arlington Avenue have announced the engagement of their daughter, Carol Lynn, of Buffalo to George F. Nussbaum, electronic technician second grade, the son of Dr. and Mrs. George F. Nussbaum of Tonawanda.
A 1964 graduate of Gloversville High School, Miss Abbott is a hematology technician at Buffalo's Roswell Park Memorial Institute.
Nussbaum attended school in Tonawanda and is serving aboard the Destroyer Sample in Hawaii. He returned recently from his third tour of duty in Vietnam.
The couple plans a late summer wedding. - George Frederick Nussbaum Jr. died on 2 May 1995 at age 82.
