- Anna Prinzing was born on 25 January 1853 in Laichingen, Württemberg.
- According to the Württemberg Emigration Index, Michael and Barbara Prinzing and their daughters Maria, Elisabetha and Anna, applied to emigrate in May 1853.
- Michael Prinzing and Barbara Miela arrived in the Port of New York on 10 August 1853, accompanied by Anna Prinzing, Maria Prinzing aboard the immigrant ship Catharine from Antwerp, Belgium. Daughter Maria does not appear with the family on the passenger manifest.
- She married David Trehearn Matthews, son of Benjamin Matthews.
- The following appeared on 26 May 1916 in the Niagara Falls Gazette: [Died] At Denfield, Ont., May 24, 1916, after a brief illness, Mrs. Mary Fink, aged 68 years; widow of the late Jacob Fink; she leaves two daughters, Mrs. John Deshinsky and Mrs. Samuel Barton, one son, Gottlieb, all of this city, two sisters, Mrs. Jacob Feister of this city, and Mrs. David Matthews of London, Ont. Funeral will be held from the family home 1608 Main street, Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, Rev. Herman Brezing officiating; burial Oakwood cemetery.
