Mr. Rheney died Monday night. /P/ Born in Keysville, Ga., he was the son of the late Samuel Rheney and Mollie Evans Rheney. He was a member of St. Andrews Methodist Church, a past commander of the Last Man's Club, Troop K, Richmond Hussers, Augusta, and a veteran of World War I. /P/ Mr. Rheney moved to Orangeburg in 1956 after retiring from the furniture business in Spartanburg, S.C. /P/ Surviving with his wife, Mrs. Abigail Yates Rheney, Orangeburg, are two sons, Dr. John W. Rheney Jr., Orangeburg, and Dr. T. B. Rheney, Summerville, W. Va; two sisters, Miss Sammie Rheney and Mrs. A. G. Bell, both of Augusta; one brother, Grady Rheney, Augusta; and five grandchildren. /P/ Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Orangeburg.
