  • The following appeared on 11 May 1912 in The Sheboygan Press: Frederick Manz, 2633 N. 15th St., died Wednesday night at his home. His brother Louis died about two weeks ago. Mr. Manz was born in Untenheim, Hessia, November 16, 1827. He came to America and settled in Pennsylvania. In 1854 he was married to Miss Fredericka Reuther, who survives him. The couple came to the town of Rhine, this county, in the same year. Here they resided 22 years, following when they moved to Howards Grove where they resided seven years. In 1883 they moved to this city where they have since lived. Old age was the cause of death. The funeral took place this afternoon, Rev. Horstmeier officiating. Interment was in Willdwood.
