  • The following appeared on 4 March 1983 in the Lockport Union-Sun & Journal: Carl F. Hollenbeck of 5348 Hollenbeck Road, Lockport, passed away Thursday, March 3, 1983, at the Lockport Memorial Hospital. Husband of the late Lois F. Hollenbeck; father of Mrs. John (Shirley) Walthew of New Jersey, Kenneth (Margaret) Hollenbeck of Illinois, Donald (Mary Ann) Hollenbeck of Gasport, and the late Carolyn Dent and Paul Hollenbeck. Also survived by nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Marjorie Sutfin of Avoca, NY., and several nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Bates, Wallace, & Heath Funeral Home, Inc., 38 State St., Middleport, with the Rev. Keith Hilliard officiating. Burial in Royalton Union Cemetery. Memorials to the Royalton Community Church Building Fund or the Lockport Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
