  • The following appeared on 12 January 1935 in The Binghamton News: A possible cause of action against Dr. Ralph McMahon for alleged negligence was listed as a part of the assets of the estate of Myrtle E. Bailey, of Endicott, who died Dec. 4, 1934, according to letters of administration issued by Surrogate Benjamin Baker today. /P/ The letters were issued to the husband, Claire R. Bailey of 114 Fillmore avenue, Endicott, Distributees included two children, Claire Bailey, Jr., 2, and Louise Jean Bailey, four months.
  • He married Gertrude Sautter, daughter of Frank Julius Sautter and Florence M. English, on 4 April 1942.
  • Gertrude Sautter became a widow at his death.
  • Claire Bailey died on 15 February 1970 at age 62.
