  • The following appeared on 27 August 1912 in The Binghamton Press: Miss Rosena R. Sautter and Ray Parkes, both of Endicott were united in marriage at the Baptist parsonage Monday afternoon, Aug. 26, by Rev. W. L. Bates. The ring ceremony was used. Mr. and Mrs. Parkes will visit Sidney, Walton and Rock Rift, and on their return they will reside in Endicott.
  • Ray Parkes registered for the draft on 5 June 1917 in Broome County, New York, while living with his wife an children at 112 North McKinley in Endicott, and employed there by a tannery.
