       Mr. Thomas was the proprietor of the former "Happy" Thomas Restaurant and Bakery on Broadway, Saratoga Springs.
        Mr. Thomas was a native of Ballston Spa and had lived in Saratoga Springs for 55 years. He was a member of Bethesda Episcopal Church.
        He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. William Murphy of New Hyde Park, Mrs. Herbert Lamitie of Malone and Mrs. Robert Flores of Latham; two sons, Walter F. Thomas of Saratoga Springs and J. Earl Thomas of Kingston; two brothers, Allen L. Thomas of Ballston Spa and John R. Thomas of Washington, D. C., and one sister, Mrs. Horace Mosher of Ballston Spa.
