Surviving are her husband, Richard H., and a daughter, Olive, second grade instructor at Belden school; a brother, Oliver Eyeington of Buffalo, N. Y., and two sisters, Mrs. A. J. Bundy of Cortland, N. Y., and Mrs. Isabelle Schwert of Angola, N. Y.
Services will be held Tuesday at 1 p. m. in the Schlrack & Williams parlors with Rev. L. C. Fritschel officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn cemetery. Friends may call at the parlors today and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. - The following appeared on 20 March 1964 in The Evening Independent: In a Canton pedestrian accident, Hugh Montgomery, 71, of 118 Walnut ave SE, Canton, was reported in "fair" condition at Mercy hospital this morning with a fractured right leg.
Canton police said Montgomery was apparently crossing the street against the traffic light at 3rd st and Walnut ave SE in Canton and was struck by an auto driven by Olive I. Stokes, 58, of 758 Delverne ave SW, Canton. She was not held. The accident happened Thursday at 8 a. m. - Olive Belle Stokes died on 24 December 1997 at age 92 in San Bernardino County, California.
