Berkheimer Company, died yesterday in St. Francis Hospital. Mr. Smith was born at Davenport, Iowa, and lived in Indianapolis the last 34 years. He was a member of the Southport Masonic Lodge and the Indianapolis Valley Scottish Rite. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Tolin-Herr and Singleton Memorial Chapel, with burial in Round Hill Cemetery. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Katherine Smith; his daughter, Mrs. Carol Barnes of Indianapolis; two sons, Charles Smith of Indianapolis and George Smith of Yuma, Ariz; eight stepdaughters, Mrs. Francine McQueeney of portland, Me., and Mrs. Marjorie Daly, Mrs. Donna Lynn, Mrs. Janice Karnes, Mrs. Jackalyne Johnson, Mrs. Candice Cota, Mrs. Sunday Galyan and Mrs. Kathie Armor, all of Indianapolis, and a stepson, Robert Wright Jr. of Indianapolis.

Harris Smith, 66, Indianapolis, widow of Frank Smith, died Wednesday in a local nursing home. an Indianapolis native, Mrs. Smith was a member of Cumberland Christian Church. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday in Shirley Brothers East Chapel, where friends may call from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. today. Survivors include eight daughters, Marjorie Daly, Donna Lynn, Janice Karnes, Jackqynie Morris, Francine McQueeny, Candice Cota, Sunady Galyean and Kathy Teeman; and a son, Robert Wright.
