- The following appeared on 2 September 1962 in The Pampa Daily News: (Panhandle) Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Poston have returned from Ainsworth, Neb., where they attended funeral services for her father, Guy Clayton Foster, 62, who died Aug. 23, in a Tulsa, Okla., hospital following a long illness. The Postons had been in Tulsa several days, prior to his death.
Funeral services were in the Wisda Chapel, with burial in the Ainsworth Cemetery.
Mr. Foster was born Sept. 3, 1889, in Madison, Neb., and was married in 1917 to Miss Ruth Millard in Long Pine, Neb. She is among the survivors. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
In 1937 he moved to Borger, where he was employed by the Phillips Petroleum Company until 1947. He later lived in Panhandle, where he operated a chicken and produce farm. He had lived on a farm near Grove, Okla., for the past four years.
Survivors are a son, Kenneth Foster, Scotts Bluff, Neb; four daughter, Mrs. Ray Kime, Ainsworth; Mrs. Justus Schenk, Johnstown, Neb; Mrs. Poston, Panhandle; and Mrs. Ed Caczmarek, Omaha, Neb; 18 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
