Employed as a chemist by Central Illinois Electric and Gas company for more than 30 years. Veteral of world War I, serving in Company A of the 113th engineers in France and Germany. A lifetime deacon in Central Christian church and member of Mermitage Masonic lodge 356 in Albion and Daniel American Legion post. Attended Tri-State college, Angola, Ind. Survivors include: widow; a foster daughter, Mrs. Paul Wright, Terre Haute, Inc., and several nieces and nephews. Services at 10 a.m. Saturday in Long-Klontz Funeral Home, 420 Park ave., with the Rev. Max R. Hickerson, pastor of Central church, officiating, and at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Ingram Funeral Home, Albion. Friends may call at Long-Klontz funeral home from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday.
