  • The following appeared on 4 September 1946 in The Post: Mrs. Helen Hale died August 27, at 7 a. m., at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Martha Wright in East Otto. She was born July 7, 1862 in Red House, N. Y., the daughter of Nelson and Martha Pease Frink. [:CR;]      She was a member of the United Brethren church of Whig Street, where she made her home after her marriage to Nathan Hale on July 3, 1881. Mr. Hale died thirty-two years ago and since his death she lived with her son, Adrian Hale until about a month before her death when she went to live with her daughter. [:CR;]      Mrs. Hale had been in ill health for many ears but was around until three years ago when she became confiend to her wheelchair. [:CR;]      Besides her son Adrian, and daughter Mrs. Wright, she is survived by two other daughters, Mrs. Mae Plugh, Perry, N. Y., and Mrs. Laura Burt, of Salamanca; one brother, William Frink, 188 Rochester St., Salamanca and by several nieces and nephews. [:CR;]      Funeral services were held from the Middleton Funeral Home, Little Valley, Friday afternoon at two o'clock. Burial took place in the Niles cemetery, Ellicottville.
