  • The following appeared on 18 May 1954 in the Jamestown Post-Journal: The daughter of Police Chief Leroy H. Ericson, Mrs. Mary Alice Ericson Morganti, 27, wife of Richard Morganti of 346 Foote Avenue, died about 11 P.M. Monday en-route to W.C.A. Hospital.
         She had collapsed during a meeting of Diana Lodge Independent Order, Ladies of Vikings, at the Viking Temple last night.
         Coroner Samuel T. Bowers said that death was due to natural causes.
         Mrs. Mortganti was born Sept. 7, 1926, in this city, and attended SS. Peter & Paul's Parochial School. She was graduated from Jamestown High School.
         Besides her husband and father, she is survived by her mother, Mrs. Margaret Ericson; a six-month old daughter, Debra Morganti; one sister, Mrs. Ruth Louise Yanni, 292 Falconer Street; and two nephews, Bruce Yanni and Pat Yanni.
         A Rosary service will be held at 7:30 P.M. Wednesday from the Boyd Funeral Home.
         Funeral services will be held at 9:30 A.M. Thursday from SS. Peter & Paul's Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
