Barber Jr. of 111 Fougeron street was arrested Tuesday night by Patrolman George Melody of the Niagara street station on a charge of reckless driving, after it is alleged that the automobile he was driving crashed into a parked machine in Elmwood avenue near Bryant street, after colliding with a southbound Elmwood avenue trolley.
Miss Helen Andress, 17, of 10 Miller street, North Tonawanda, a passenger in Barber's machine, was cut on the face. She was treated by a nearby physician and taken home. the parked car is owned by Daniel J. Kenefick Jr. of Norwood avenue. - He married Alice Harriet Mertz, daughter of Jacob Arnold Mertz and Kate R. Wilson, circa 1928.
