She married Albert Truman Mayle Jr., son of Albert Truman Mayle and Margaret H. Labushewsky.
Alfreda May Huff died on 30 September 1999 at age 77 in Saugus, Los Angeles County, California, at her residence.
She was interred at Eternal Valley Memorial Park, Newhall, Los Angeles County, California.
The following appeared on 8 October 1999 in The News-Sentinel: Alfreda M. Mayle, 77, of Saugus, Calif., and formerly of Fort Wayne, died Thursday, Sept. 30, 1999, at home.
     The Ithaca, N.Y., native was a dog breeder for many years.
     Surviving are a son, Alfred J. of Los Altos Hills; daughters Eileen A. Holley of LaOtto, Ind., and Jeanne E. Lane of Ojai; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
     Her husband, Albert T. Jr., preceded her in death.
