Mr. Igoe and the former Olive DuFrane Baker were married at St. Charles Church in Lackawanna in 1930. Mr. Igoe worked at Bethlehem Steel for 45 years retiring in 1972. Mrs. Igoe was a teacher at SS. Peter and Paul School in Hamburg from 1957 to 1972. The Igoes have seven children, 18 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Wife of the late Gerard Igoe, she is survived by her sons, James, Joseph, Kevin, Francis and Dennis Igoe; daughter Mary Ellen Godios; brother, John Baker; 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Igoe was employed as a fourth grade teacher at SS. Peter & Paul School for 20 years. She was a volunteer for the Red Cross at Our Lady of Victory Hospital and was also a member of SS. Peter & Paul Church for 45 years.
Burial was a Hillcrest Cemetery and arrangements were made through the Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home.
