- Isabella A. Bryans was born on 30 August 1859 in Canada West (later Ontario).
- Thomas Bryans and Jane Graham appeared in the 14 January 1861 provincial census of "Canada" in Township of Arthur, Wellington County, Canada West (later Ontario). Other members of the household included Isabella A. Bryans, George A. Bryans. Also in the household (or living adjacent) was widower George Bryans (age 59), Alexander Graham (age 20), presumably Jane's brother, and Robert Bryans (age 10). It is worthy of note that there were numerous other Bryans also living in Arthur at the time.
- Thomas Bryans and Jane Graham appeared in the 2 April 1871 first national census of Canada in Arthur, Wellington North, Ontario, Canada. Other members of the household included Isabella A. Bryans, George A. Bryans, Christina Bryans, Mary A. Bryans, Letitia Bryans and Anna Bryans.
- Isabella A. Bryans appeared in the New York state census of 1 June 1875 in Buffalo, Erie County, New York, enumerated as a domestic servant in the household of A. D. Jackson.
- Isabella A. Bryans appeared in the US federal census of 1 June 1880 in Buffalo, Erie County, New York, at Main Street enumerated as a servant in the household of printer George Bailey, not far from where her family was living.
- She married Wilfrid Philip Dittoe on 9 September 1880 in Buffalo, New York.
- The following appeared on 13 September 1880 in the Cincinnati Daily Gazette; (Newport) Mr. Wilfred P. Dittoe, who has been absent some time in Buffalo, N. Y., returned home yesterday. He came not alone, however, as he went, but accompanied by a blooming and beautiful better half, nee Miss Belle Bryans. The hearty good wishes of a wide circle of friends will greet the young couple in their new departure in life.
- Isabella A. Bryans became a widow at the 29 January 1936 death of her husband Wilfrid Philip Dittoe.
- Isabella A. Bryans died on 19 January 1949 at age 89 in Cleveland Heights, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, at 2256 Briarwood Road at her residence . Informant was her son Ralph.
- She was interred at Calvary Cemetery, Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.
