         Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Robert Smith, and a grandson, Mark Smith, of Maple Heights, Ohio; four sisters, the Misses Caroline Rieger, Frances Rieger, Agnes Rieger and Ada C. Rieger, all of this city. Arrangements for the funeral will be announced.

         Dr. Gallagher was a native of Niagara Falls and had practiced medicine in Akron for the last 35 years.
         He attended the State University at Buffalo and University of Maryland Medical Schools. He was a World War I veteran.
         While residing in Niagara Falls, Dr. Gallagher was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 247 and the Niagara Assembly of the Knights of Columbus. He was an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus and had held a membership in the organization for more than 50 years.
         He is survived by his widow, Ada Rieger Gallagher of Akron; one daughter, Mrs. Ada Smith, Cleveland, Ohio; one brother, Eugene Gallagher, Buffalo, and three grandchildren.
         Friends may call at the Rhoney Funeral Home Inc., after 10 a.m. Sunday.
         Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Monday at 8:30 a.m. and in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church at 9:15. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
         Members of the Knights of Columbus will recite the rosary Sunday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
