He was the husband of the late Mary Ann Jannacek Stajek. He is the father of Gary of Livingston, Diane Sniffen of Hopatcong, and Jeffrey of Parsippany. Also surviving are his five grandchildren and three sisters, Lottie Grabowski of Keyport, Ida Kowolanko of Irvington, and Wanda Fallon of Indiana, and the late Edward Stajek.
Mr. Stajek funeral services will held on Tuesday Dec. 31 at 10:00AM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ, and may visit at the funeral home on Monday Dec. 30 at 2-4 and 7-9PM. - The following appeared on 29 December 2002 in The Star-Ledger: Services for Henry Stajek of Denville will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave., Denville.
Mr. Stajek, who died Friday at home, was a field superintendent for Independent Sheet Metal Co. in Hawthorne for 15 years before retiring 10 years ago.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Mr. Stajek was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union, Local 25, Carlstadt. He was also a member of the Denville Senior Citizens.
Born in Newark, he lived in Livingston before moving to Denville five years ago.
Surviving are sons, Gary and Jeffrey; a daughter, Diane Sniffen; sisters, Lottie Grabowski, Ida Kowolanko and Wanda Fallon, and five grandchildren.
