- Rolland Deveaux Dennison registered for the draft on 17 June 1917 while living with his wife and two children at 730 Mont Eagle in Niagara Falls, employed there as a painter by his uncle H. P. Williams.
- The following appeared on 22 June 1921 in the Niagara Falls Gazette: After an illness extending over many months Mrs. Alice F. Dennison, 63 years old, native born resident of Niagara county who lived practically all her life in this city, died last night at the home of her brother, H. P. Williams, No. 730 Monteagle street. She was known and respected by many Niagara Falls people. She was the widow of the late Charles Dennison and was the mother of roland Dennison, and sister of H. P. and George H. Williams. The funeral will be held at the home of H. P. Williams on Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, the Rev. Mr. Mercer officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
- The following appeared on 7 July 1953 in the Buffalo Courier-Express: (Niagara Falls, July 6) Patrolman Rolland Dennison, a member of the Police Department since March 31, 1924, has retired. Dennison has been in ill helath for many years.
