Mr. Simpson was a son of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Simpson of Olean and left Olean about twenty years ago. At one time he was secretary of the American Mexican commission settling various claims. [:CR;]      Mr. Simpson is survived by his wife and one one; one sister, Mrs. C. W. Stackhouse of Olean; two brothers, William R. Simpson of Marcushook, Pa., and Walter H. Simpson of Denver, Colo.

         Mr. Simpson was the eldest son of the late William H. Simpson and Mrs. Mary Simpson of this city. He had spent his early youth in Olean and was well known here. He attended the local puclic schools and was a graduate of Olean High School.
         Mr. Simpson was associated wit the White Eagle Oil Refinery and had been doing experimental work for that concern. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mae Gail Simpson, one son, William R. SWimspon, Jr., his mother, Mrs. Mary Wimpson, this city; one brother, Walter H. Simpson, Denver, Color., one sister, Mrs. Charles W. Stackhouse, this city.
         the body will be brought to Olean and will be removed to the Simpson residence, 235 North Second Street. Mrs. Simpson and son are accompanying the body here. Arrangements for the funeral are incomplete.
         Mr. Simpson was active in Masonci Circles and was also a member of the Benevlent and Protective Order of Eks.
