- She married Norman Albert Bouvy, son of William Bouvy and Norma Alberta Hoffman, on 18 November 1942 in Cumberland, Allegany County, Maryland.
- The following appeared on 21 November 1942 in the Niagara Falls Gazette: Mr. and Mrs. Joseph E. Maxsom, of 585 Seventy-eighth street, announce the marriage of their daughter, Elizabeth M., to Seaman Bert Bouvy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Bouvy, of 2761 Lockport street. They were married Wednesday, November 18, in Cumberland, Maryland, by the Rev. George E. Baughman.
Seaman Bouvy has returned to the Great Lakes, Ill., naval center. - The following appeared on 28 May 1948 in the Niagara Falls Gazette: Mrs. William Bouvy, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Bouvy and Mrs. Joe Robertshaw, Lockport road, have left for Long Beach, Calif., where they will make their future home.

- The following appeared on 19 November 1959 in the Niagara Falls Gazette: [Born] To Mr. and Mrs. Norman A. Bouvy, 2091 Gondar Ave., Long Beach, Calif., Nov. 17 1959, a son, Michael Jesse. Mrs. Bouvy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph E. Maxsom 78th St.
- Elizabeth Maxsom died on 13 August 1991 at age 66 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, New York, at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.
- Norman Albert Bouvy became a widower at her death.
- She was interred at Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, Niagara County, New York.
- The following appeared on 15 August 1991 in The Buffalo News: Services for Elizabeth Bouvy, a native of Niagara Falls, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in the Otto Redanz LaSalle Park Chapel, 2215 Military Road, Town of Niagara. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston.
Mrs. Bouvy, 66, died Tuesday (Aug. 13, 1991) in Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.
The former Elizabeth Maxsom moved to California after her marriage, then to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, where she lived before returning to Niagara Falls about 10 years ago.
Survivors include her husband, Albert of Coeur d'Alene; a son, Michael of California; six sisters, Charlotte Dennis of Canisteo, Bertha Witkopf and Laura Spencer, both of Lewiston, Ella Manchester of Austin, Texas, Augusta Landy and Ruth Phillips, and two brothers, Joseph Maxsom of North Carolina and Arthur Maxsom of Lodi.
