Mr. Rickards was born Sept. 1, 1892 in Great Valley and was the son of the late Stephen and Addie Rickards. In his early boyhood days he lived and attended school here.
Besides his wife, Ruth Rickards, he is survived by one sister, Miss Esther Rickards of Buffalo and two brothers, Leigh Rickards, also of Buffalo and Richard Rickards of Wichita Falls, Texas. He was a nephew of Mrs. Charles Gilman and Mrs. Louis Reed of Great Valley.
The funeral and burial was held in Snyder, Monday afternoon.
