- Simeon Perry died on 26 October 1826 in Sevier County, Tennessee, following an attack by an intruder in his home.
- Simeon Perry's children remained with Elizabeth Rogers Perry for a few years, and in 1833 their uncle and guardian Ducalion Perry moved them to Perry County, Alabama.
