  • The following appeared on 29 November 1969 in the Dallas Morning News: Mrs. Elizabeth Johnson Moody, 53, of 7510 W. Northwest Highway, a Dallas resident for 33 years, died here Friday. She was born in Corsicana, Navarro County, but had lived in Dallas from 1918 to 1937 before moving to Houston. She returned to Dallas in 1957. She was a graduate of Southern Methodist University and a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority there. She was a member of the Dallas Women's Club, The Lyceum Club and the Episcopal Church. Survivors: two daughters, Mrs. John M. Cadwell of San Francisco, Calif., and Mrs. Lange J. Fuqua of Dallas; a son, Alvin S. Moody III of Dallas; a sister, Mrs. Robert B. Bowles, and a brother, Wiley Johnson, both of Dallas, and a grandson. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the Church of the Incarnation. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
