  • Minnie Avery Pullen died on 23 April 1942 in Dallas County, Texas.
  • The following appeared on 24 April 1942 in the Dallas Morning News: Mrs. Minnie Pullen Ross, 3607 Binkley, wife of the late Joseph A. Ross, petroleum engineer, died in a local hospital Thursday. Mrs. Ross came to Dallas from San Antonio. Surviving are three sons, Robert N. Ross, Caracas, Venezuela; ensign Joseph A. Ross, United States Navy; and D. D. Ross, Houston; two sisters, Mrs. E. N. Johnson, Dallas, and Mrs. F. M. Seitz, Poteet, Atascosa County, and two grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Friday in the Sparkman-Brand Chapel by Dr. Henry W. DuBose.
