- Sallie V. Wingate was born circa December 1879 in Alabama.
- William A. Wingate and Ann (?) appeared in the US federal census of 1 June 1880 in Grove Hill, Clarke County, Alabama, and also in the household Liza Horn, age 57, identified as mother. If her age is correct, then it precludes her being William's mother, so she may be Ann's mother, but no evidence has yet been found.. Other members of the household included Sallie V. Wingate, James W. Wingate, Elizabeth Wingate and George Wingate.
- She married Lucius Fielder Bunn on 12 November 1896 in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana.
- Sallie V. Wingate died between 1896 and 1898.
