         Mr. Latham had been employed by the Civil Aeronautics Administration in Anchorage for the past 10 years.
         Surviving are his mother, Mrs. J. W. Latham of Converse, and four sisters, Mrs. S. L. Asby of Newton, Texas, Mrs. Helen Miles of Pleasant Hill, Mrs. L. G. Edwards of Noble and Mrs. J. T. Cates of Converse.
          Interment was in the Oak Grove cemetery under the direction of the Drewitt Funeral home of Mansfield.
  • The following appeared on 23 March 1978 in the Sabine Index: Adina M. Edwards, 76, of Ada, Okla., died Saturday, March 18, at her residence, following a short illness. Funeral services were at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 21, in the Noble Methodist Church, with burial following in the Noble Cemetery, under the direction of the Drewett Funeral Home of Mansfield. Mrs. Edwards is survived by one daughter, Marilyn Cates; one son, Winston B. Edwards; three sisters, Zell Cates, Grady Ashby and Helen Miles of Pleasant Hill; four grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
