Mr. Shahan was a prominent farmer of Marento and leaves a wife and eight children, Mrs. George Nixon of East Orange, N. J., Miss Elizabeth Shahan of Nashville, Tenn., Clifton Shahan of Mississippi and Mrs. R. D. Drake, Misses Evelyn and Nell Shahan of Faunsdale. He was about 65 years old. - The following appeared on 14 April 1912 in The Montgomery Advertiser: (Faunsdale) B. C. Adams of Marion Junction spent the week end with his sister Miss Louise. . . . Clifton Shahan is visiting relatives here.
