• Hattie Estelle Laskowski became a widow at the 22 September 1922 death of her husband George Frank Caskie.
• Hattie Estelle Laskowski appeared in the US federal census of 1 April 1930 in Houston, Harris County, Texas, at 409 Dever. Other members of the household included Lawrence Caskie and Mary Pearl Caskie.
• She was employed as a janitress, according to the 1930 census.
• She married Ezekiel Thomas Hester.
• At the time of her death Hattie Estelle Laskowski was living in Houston, Harris County, Texas, at 604 Bayland.

He is preceded in death by his father, George Frank Caskie, mother Hattie Estelle Laskoskie Caskie Hester, step father Ezekiel "Nubbin" Hester, daughters Georgene Krolczyk and Carolyn Nesrsta and wife Betty Jo Caskie and is survived by his son Lawrence S. Caskie Jr. and wife Donna; daughter Stefanie Reece and husband Charles; grandchildren Victor, Chris, Susan, Elliot, Anthony and Timothy Krolczyk, Bridget, Sharon, Peggy and Janet Nesrsta, Chris and Aaron Reece, Stefan Thomas, Trixy Guevara, Lawrence S. III and Katrina Caskie and numerous great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M in the chapel of Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Freeway where funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 P.M. with interment to follow in the cemetery.
