Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00-7:00pm at Nobles Funeral Chapel in Navasota. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 11:00am in the Aggie Field of Honor Cemetery in College Station. Memorial services will follow at 1:00pm at Nobles Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bill Pederson officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
         Dewey was born August 10, 1944, in Navasota, the son of George & Cordelia (Harris) Hoke. He married Ruth Pederson on June 3, 1967, in Navasota. Mr. Hoke was a member of Navasota Lodge #299 A.F. & A.M. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Hoke is survived by his wife Ruth; daughter Terry Estes and husband Brent of Cypress; son Dewey Hoke, Jr. and wife Jennifer of Magnolia; brothers-in-law, Clyde Pederson, Jr. of The Woodlands and Bill Pederson of North Carolina; sisters-in-law, Terry McElroy of Navasota and Helen Sechelski of Houston; and grandchildren, Joshua Hoke, Cecil Hoke, Emily Estes, and Ryan Estes.
         Serving as pallbearers are Dewey Hoke, Jr. of Magnolia, Brent Ester of Cypress, Greg Hoke of Spring, Jeff Hoke of Pearland, Bill Terrell of Navasota, Mike Sechelski of Houston, Joshua Hoke of Magnolia, and Jacque Pearcon of Burton. Honorary pallbearers include Ryan Estes, Cecil Hoke, Billy Joe Terrell, and Emily Estes.
