Other (counted but unnamed) members of the household apparently included Emeline Davis, Sarah Louise Davis, Isaac Davis, Eliakim Williams Davis, William A. Davis and Lucy Davis. Also in the household were three additional females: one age 60-69, one age 20-29, and one age 10-14.
  • Sarah Louise Davis and Emeline Davis appeared in the US federal census of 1 June 1850 in DeSoto County, Mississippi, enumerated in the large household of Richard C. and Elizabeth A. Guy Hancock (age 45), born in Virginia, just a few households away from their mother and brother William in the household of Jane Hancock (age 44), born in Virginia.

  • Emeline Davis appeared in the US federal census of 1 June 1880 in New Orleans, Orleans Parish, Louisiana, at 128 Esplanade Street enumerated as Emilie Davis (age 52, born in New York), a cousin, in the household of Miss Fitzgerald (42) and her sister Miss Shark (38). Also in the household was another cousin, Mary Davis (32, born in Louisiana). All four were were unmarried school teachers, with two female domestic servants also in the household.
  • Emeline Davis appeared in the US federal census of 1 June 1900 in New Orleans, Orleans Parish, Louisiana, at 819 Rampart Street enumerated as Miss Davis (age unknown, born in New York), boarding in the household of H. Fitzgerald and her sister Mrs. Delia Sharp (ages unknown), all three employed as school teachers. Also boarding in the household were three teenage female students, and one female domestic servant.
