         Mildred died Monday morning, April 23, at her home in Navasota. She was born February 1, 1923 in Weimer, Texas, to the Rev. Paul and Elsie Adeline Dahse Piepenbrok. She spent her school years in Jackson, Mo., and returned to Texas in 1942 and Navasota in 1943. She married Charles J. Boring on April 20, 1947 at Friedens Church and they made their home in Navasota, where she was a secretary for Security State Bank and later the Bank of Navasota, NA where she retired. She was a long-time and faithful member of Friedens Church of Washington, as well as the Women's Fellowship.
         She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; grandson, Ryan D. Taylor; and son-in-law, Donald Taylor.
         Survivors include her children, Charlotte R. McLain and husband, Michael, of Weatherford, Nancy C. Taylor of West Columbia, James P. Boring, Martin D. Boring and Dennis A. Boring, all of Navasota; sisters-in-law, Emma G. Piepenbrok of Sugar Land, Janet Piepenbrok of Jackson, Mo., and Selma Meadows of Richmond, Texas; 14 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
