         Pegues was born and reared and Longview. He had lived in Dallas 10 years. He owned and operated a typewriter repair shop.
         Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Gus Neilon and Mrs. H. LaRue Coleman, both of Dallas and Mrs. W. H. Bramlette of Jacksonville, Cherokee County.
