Services were held in the Presbyterian Church with the Rev. S. M. Bennett officiating.
         Mr. Pegues suffered a nervous breakdown in June while he was in Seattle, Wash. Survivors are his wife, daughter, Jane Clancy [sic], and son, Phillip Alson [sic]Jr; sisters, Mrs. J. B. Holt, Edinburg, Texas; Mrs. J. L. Steadham [sic], San Antonio, Texas; brothers Oliver T. Pegues, Eastland; Terry [sic] Pegues, Dallas, John A. Pegues, San Antonio, and Mack Pegues, Fort Worth, Texas.
