Wood, 3100 Morrow Avenue, celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary last Sunday, and when friends came to congratulate them during the week they showed them the wedding bell which was used at the nuptials 60 years ago. Mrs. Wood had the bell covered with bridal wreath, the flower she used in her wedding. The bell has been in several weddings in the Wood family since it was first used.
         Last Sunday, members of their family gathered at the home for dinner, and while they were there word came from Mr. and Mrs. Max Wood in Eugene, Ore., son and daughter-in-law, that they had planted two trees in their front yard in honor of their parents. Present Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. J. K. Wood and their daughter, Mrs. Charles Bussey of Dallas, Mr. and Mrs. David Wood, and Waller P. Wood.

         Graduate of Texas A. and M., he moved to Oregon 25 years ago and entered the ranching business. He was the son of the late Dr. and Mrs. W. A. Wood of Hubbard and Waco.
         Survivors include two brothers, Eugene C. Wood and Waller P. Wood, both of Waco.
